Potentially my favorite "niche" asset series, I'm delighted to bring to you all the 5th installment of Combat Assets. Like its predecessors, this pack aims to deliver an injection of dozens of new slain enemies. More than prior iterations, our abundance of existing humanoid corpses allowed for me to instead broaden a bit more to monstrous varieties, bringing assets for many of D&D's classic enemies.
And while I obviously look forward to seeing what you make of the kobolds, giant rats, aberrations, and more, this asset series can also take on the secret sub-title of clothing assets. Born of a desire to make the absolute most of every asset pack, I go back into these individual pieces and "pull out" other elements that can also be useful in isolation. As a result you'll find dozens of pieces of clothing, armor, and monster ingredients inside.
Combat Assets 5 Contains:
Dozens of new corpses for defeated enemies, beasts, and NPCS
A set that focuses a bit more on monstrous corpses in particular, expanding the pool off possible assets to drop into dungeons, looted villages, mid-siege city walls, etc.
"Mobs" of similarly typed, but different looking pieces to convincingly use in the same circumstances such as: kobolds, guards, undead, duergar, and giant rats
A large swath of armor, clothing, and monster loot derived from these same corpses in order to make sure we stretch the full value of this pack
My example map of a set of ruins in which we find the remains of a gallant paladin, slain after fighting off a horde of undead. Arrives with its standard variations in grid, furnished/unfurnished, and options for VTT compression
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Combat Assets 5 contains all of the standard assets as objects within the pack as well as colorable counterparts of all corpses. This allows for skin color alterations or in other instances, options to choose the color of armor or other accessories. Enjoy!
Enjoy!
