For the second asset pack of the month I wanted to veer off the expected path a bit and delve into an area that I have a fair bit of personal affection for and felt hadn't gotten a lot of love in recent history.
Travel Assets 1 was released in July of 2021 and covered a similar theme as this set here: campsites and traveling. It represented the schism that I'd created when following up the very original Forest Assets with Woodland Assets 1 to expand specifically on natural elements and not any of the camp bits that the Forest Assets had featured.
As the years have progressed I have routinely found myself wanting just a bit more from my wagons and tents, which is why you'll see such a vibrant emphasis on them here. I've chosen to focus this pack more on fewer, but larger and heavily detailed pieces to make sure that both myself (and more importantly, you all!) don't feel you have to stretch this theme again in the future for some time.
As a result, you'll find the following within Travel Assets 2:
Some expected "campsite debris" such as backpacks, bedrolls, rope, logs, etc.
5 new wagons to add some more broad-use, contemporary selections to the library
A wide litany of various kinds of tents! Small, rugged tents fashioned from sharpened stakes, tents made of patchwork fabrics, and large canopies decorated with trim and layered roofs.
And of course, my "example" map of a cozy, well-established "home base" campsite. I've also put a little extra effort into a "humble" variant of it (where only the central bedrolls are present) as well as daytime variants of both.
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Travel Assets 2 contains all of the standard assets as objects within the pack, alongside a good majority of them as colorable counterparts.
Enjoy!
