About a year and a half ago I experimented with the release of Technology Assets 1, a set that like this one here, is obviously not quite in line with our typical stream of medieval fantasy. That said, it seemed to me that if we were going to have any sci-fi adjacent elements in the library, they might as well be somewhat robust and therefore deserving of some additional fleshing out.
Technology Assets 2 looks to continue that trajectory through the infusion of new walls and flooring styles, more constructs and machinery, and importantly, furniture that feels like a natural companion to those elements. I have however generally tried to make sure that at least some of these asset packs also fall within the acceptable range of pieces that could be at home in the workshop of a gnome artificer or the dock of a skyship tower.
a new, industrially-styled wall aesthetic
a ground tile pattern inspired by games I've been playing recently and intended to emulate/communicate the flow of power through a complex (as I've attempted to illustrate in my above example map)
new "modern" looking furniture for beds, shelves, crates, barrels, and tables
more techy-flavored machines/devices like cameras, computer monitors, laser traps, etc.
more industrial-flavored machines with pipes, pulleys, levers, etc.
a slew of new construct pieces, assembled into a variety of complete construct creatures as well as separated into dozens of components to allow for in-progress creations as well as entirely new combinations you may dream up
and of course, my "example" map of the interior of some kind of construct workshop, exemplifying how these assets here may also be combined not just with the prior pack, but also those found in the Industrial Assets, Academy Assets, and Sewer Assets.
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Technology Assets 2 contains all of the standard assets as objects within the pack, alongside a good majority of them as colorable counterparts. You'll also find a wall and terrain style for the wall and floor pattern found in here as well as path options for the escalator, cabling, laser, and wall style.
Enjoy!
