Seeing as we're right on the cusp of spooky season, it felt apt to have an update come down the pipeline on the "Graveyard Assets" series, which saw its previous installment back in 2021. Part 3 here aims to update versions of assets that had grown a bit older (stone sarcophagi, grave markers, grave mounds, etc.) , help fill specific gaps (circular daises, better generic bones, open sarcophagi, and bone walls), and disperse out more eye-catching assets that inject some flavor (who doesn't love a 50 ft length of dragon spine).
On top of it, I also recalled there being a very straightforward "Mausoleum" map from the chase sequence found in the 5E Dragon Heist module from which we've also previously seen the map for the Old Tower released. So I put a little extra elbow grease and took advantage of the fact that I was making an example map anyways and had it fit the specifics of the mausoleum described in that adventure.
Graveyard Assets 3 contains:
A series of statues and statuettes befitting an opulent graveyard, depicting angelic guardians, skeletal omens, and the resting dead
new candles, flowers, and plaques that would likely be found demarcating the final resting place of an individual
several daises and podiums that might be found inside or around mausoleums to display information or protect valuable final belongings
new graves and stone sarcophagi, all helpfully broad use and coming in broken/deteriorated varieties
a new seamless wall of bones, giant skulls, and 'bone spires' for those of you who may want to go full "temple of death" with your graveyard
And of course, my "example map" of the aforementioned Waterdeep Mausoleum from Dragon Heist. Arrives in standard grid/no grid, VTT compressed, and unfurnished variants. I've also included the same variants of isolated PNGs of the mausoleum and subterranean crypt.
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Graveyard Assets 3 contains everything therein as an object within the mapmaking program along with a majority of said objects featuring a colorable counterpart. You'll also find a path option for the new bone wall style included in here as well as the "Mausoleum Tile" located in the terrain options.
Enjoy!
