Public Asset Pack Theme Vote
Added 2019-12-09 01:34:01 +0000 UTCHello all!
With the release of the Mountainside Assets this weekend we need to vote on our next larger installment of the public asset pack. I've included the remaining options from the previous poll as well as an option for a 2nd iteration of a previous pack. If that option were to win there would need to be a followup poll to decide between the various options: Forest, Tavern, Snow, Rivers, Urban, Caves, Ships, Castles, and Mountainside.
As you probably realize I try to keep these larger packs more broadly focused in their theme as opposed to the more specific booster packs; if you have any suggestions on themes you'd like to see in the future please let me know!
Thank you for voting!

2019-12-19 05:37:44 +0000 UTCHey Saul! Ships & Sailing was an asset pack theme that was released previously, in June of this last year. That would only have become an option for a followup poll if the '2nd iteration' option had won, which it appears it likely won't.

2019-12-13 16:35:58 +0000 UTCI would like to see some more stuff that I could use in my Planescape campaign. I would kill for assets I could use to build Sigil maps with, but even just any kind of Outer Plane theme would rock too.

2019-12-09 11:00:30 +0000 UTCYeah... more colour shifted assets. Am I the only person that's figured out what sepia tone means?

2019-12-09 07:19:00 +0000 UTCCool! I will keep this idea in mind, could possibly seeing this manifesting as a battle map series perhaps. Thank you for the suggestion!

2019-12-09 04:08:06 +0000 UTCYeah, pretty close, I guess I was envisioning some "Y" shaped pathways so then you could send them branching in a couple path choices, and then use those to keep branching to further branches if needed. Maybe a couple hard corners (90%) and dead ends? Possibly if it is a rooftop scene a few tiles that would be a transition from higher to lower bits and vice versa (a few boxes and an overhang, or a large cart parked next to a wall). I think the nice thing about these is it could always be expanded with new tiles every once in awhile. Expansion ideas are stuff like "through the window" so then there are now windows and and simple interiors of a building for a couple tiles.

2019-12-09 04:02:01 +0000 UTCTo clarify: this would look like a series of tiles (let's say 4'x4') with one or two 'gently suggested' routes for players to take to facilitate a chase scene? But universal enough along the edges that they can be placed in any order?

2019-12-09 03:35:58 +0000 UTCJust ran a chase skill challenge tonight for my group. Theatre of the mind works alright, but I've never found a good chase map. I agree it's needed.

2019-12-09 02:02:59 +0000 UTCThis might be a terrible place to place this, but been really been hoping for a couple things lately. 1. City chase tiles 2. Rooftop chase tiles 3. Wilderness chase tiles Of course some other things can be incorporated into chase tiles, but been looking for a set of these things for awhile. Simple or complex, mostly I just want to have something to route out a single or double lane chase (something I can set up dynamic lighting for and make it twisting and turning and a couple paths that might converge and diverge). Have a feeling that some other GM's might really like something like this too.
