Broken Spire Keep

Heya everyone,

This month I was asked to create an updated map accompaniment to Broken Spire Keep, a dungeon players explore during the relatively famous 2E adventure, Night Below. The Keep, once inhabited by the Parlfray family, has been abandoned for over a century and is investigated by players after learning about a series of kidnappings. As you can tell from the questionable chamber contents of the dungeons level and numerous secret doors there are even more nefarious activities taking place at the keep than the players initially realize. Once players advance beyond this location however, the book has plenty more to throw at your group between an adventure in the underdark and even culminating in an adventure into an aboleth city.

If you came into D&D during the more recent success of 5th Edition (like myself!) I'd highly recommend you give older modules like Night Below some of your attention. Though they might occasionally lack the specific story-based direction of 5E modules and have a different ruleset, they're not especially difficult to translate to 5E terms and can save you plenty of prep time while providing story content your players may not have already heard of from being in the 5E zeitgeist.

The .Zip file below contains variations of the overall map without grid, text, and a variation set to 'empty' without any interior props. Additionally, you can find the same variations of each individual floor isolated as PNG assets.

Enjoy!

Cool! Any and all night below content is appreciated. I'm running through that now on a...very...slow-burning campaign :)

For Virtual TableTop use, the doors are added in as separate graphics, within the VTT program, which can be moved/rotated during play. Also allows for customization of door type: wood, metal-clad wood, barred, etc.

Thanks Phil, I'll try to remember this for the future--is the aim just to have greater versatility in which rooms are accessed from where if customizing an empty version?

A suggestion for the future. If you could turn off the doors layer as well for the No Text version that would be great. Or the Empty version. Thanks!

Excellent Work as usual ! Thanks a lot !
