Hello all!
Welcome to the 2nd location in our Dragon Heist series.. the Vault of Dragons! Voted on by you all as one of the four locations we'd map out for this module, the Vault is critical as one of the climactic scenes for the entire adventure. As the sought-after location of treasure that the players (and many villains) are seeking after it will be rather large, demand 5 separate 'map' posts in total, and hopefully provide a good deal of utility to all Dungeon Masters, not just the ones running Dragon Heist.
Here before you we see the 'Entrance Foyer', the initial primary room that players encounter as they enter the Vault. With a series of adamantine doors spread all throughout the foyer, players will be forced to determine which leads deeper into the vault. Those of you familiar with the location know that the two sets of doors on the upper leftside wall lead to where the characters want to go. However in this version, so as to hide that fact from the players I've included a 'false wall' that hides exactly which doors are the correct ones. These will of course come with interchangeable versions in the final product once all portions of the Vault are completed.
Lastly, in an attempt to emulate the tiling seen in illustrations of the Vault in the module and to make the grid situation a little easier in lieu of an actual grid I've made a 'tiling' texture that is intended to look like large floor tiles while also marking 5ft sections. So, no grid or 'no grid' variations as the grid is baked in!
