Hello all!

Been a while since I had sat down and worked out a classic countryside town map such as this. Rauthurthorp (Rauthur = red & thorp = village, i.e. Red Village) is like many small clusters of civilization in that it boasts of common services like a smithy, general store, tavern, etc. What really puts Rauthurthorp on the map (amongst the local province anyways) is the reddish hues of the foliage in the area and the Groveside Priory of monks that tend to them.

The priory sends out its monks to tend to trees and plants in Rauthurthorp and the surrounding area, even assisting farms and the nearby orchard in the pruning and maintenance of their crops. The priory attributes the leaves' unusual color to the abundance of a particular kind of life-giving energy in the soil underneath Rauthurthorp and believe attending to the plants in this way will allow that energy to thrive more abundantly.

Here's hoping you enjoy using Rauthurthorp next time you need a town map to put in front of your players or when they need a place to rest after that difficult random encounter in the wilderness.
