Archiver Reward Tier

Hello all!

One  of the things I've been juggling around with since starting this Patreon has been how exactly to handle the commercial licensing of the maps you support. After having talked to and received feedback from some interested groups of adventure-makers, I've decided to incorporate a $10 per map support tier here specifically geared towards providing a commercial license for the content released through this Patreon.

Here are the specifics of how that reward is intended to function:

That's it! Nothing that should affect 99% of you, but hopefully the first step to building the foundation around the content here that helps enables other content creators in the D&D community interested in publishing adventures with quality maps.

Thanks!

Hey there, was looking at the assets from the website, and I was wondering if I am to purchase those will the sub still be required? Also wanted to ask, as you offer assets too, and the above only mentions maps, those are included for our own creations? I've tried looking throughout the website but wasn't able to find any information

Hey Cesar! Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your comment, but just to be clear: this post is publicly visible and linked in the description of the tier on the "landing page" for new/incoming patrons. And just to clarify your point on asset use: it is $50/mo b/c it is $10 per paid post I release each month (always five). The frequency or type of content you use as a part of your commercial license does not affect pricing.

This kind of information would be welcome to the public so that other people with the same question can at least get some sort of information without having to subscribe just to ask similar questions. Because there are a lot of things to consider when deciding to drop 50 a month on a commercial license (Not that it is a unfair price, but it is a decent amount when you concider people use 2-5 asset packs to MAKE maps so that becomes 100-250 a month for the assets.) again not a unfair price, but one that requires thought and information! :D Thank you for all your hard work and beautiful assets.

Hey Jennifer! I hate patreon's notification system. I just saw this--not sure if this sort of thing is still on your radar or not, but if so please feel free to reach out to me directly at info@venatusmaps.com

Ok, so I'm looking at getting started publishing modules, and trying to figure out the logistics. If I understand this, if I use one of your maps, I must remain subscribed at the $10/thing level forever, or withdraw anything I write which uses your map?
