So, I Hear You Like Sadistic Women (Ayame route scene 4 patch)

Two in a week!

Don't expect this kind of speed on the next one, as scene 65 is the actual longest H-scene in the game.

Comments

I did see the news. The facts are mostly public, and I have feelings about it as well. (Sorry if this all is a bit disorganized.) Facts: 1. I know next to nothing about business finance. 2. This isn't necessarily because one particular product or line of products did poorly. In general, creators can put their work on hold or seek a change for many reasons (health, burnout, family circumstances, etc.) that have nothing to do with financial success. Ryousei Rui also specifically tweeted that the reason he resigned wasn't because of a dispute with the company. https://twitter.com/ryouseirui_head/status/1197832394025230338 3. Koihime live was November 9th. Ryousei Rui resigned on November 20th. (It's possible the resignation was planned earlier but he stayed on to help with what was a major Nexton event.) http://baseson.nexton-net.jp/live2019/ 4. Herencia's last two games were upper-mid priced games. Queendom, counting the special editon, could be called a full pricer. On DMM, they have 16 available games, a nice square number. Their final game got an address ending in 69, which is pretty baller. https://dlsoft.dmm.co.jp/list/article=maker/id=58302/sort=date/ Feelings: 1. It kinda really sucks. At least in the short term, there's one less producer that could be counted on for reliable femdom stuff. That wasn't a long list to begin with, and it stinks even worse for the folks that don't have doujin audio to fall back on. I guess maybe I should examine what OEVNs have to offer at this stage, since there's not really a Japanese game I'm super looking forward to at this point. There's always older games I haven't played yet, I suppose (the backlog never gets shorter these days, but that's another thing). 2. I was all ready to just be getting excited about G4M v20. This sort of puts a damper on that mood, obviously. 3. Signing off bilingual was a nice gesture to overseas fans. I do appreciate that they told us what was happening. 4. It doesn't feel to me like they were stopped in the middle of something. Queendom was the last project they announced, they finished it on time, and now the label is on hiatus. I don't like seeing it, but it's not like there's much to be done...

thanks for your hardwork! Any thoughts on herencia director resigning? It is such a shame I think it's because the products were not well received as the case with the other games with the same genre :(

Nameless

No kidding. Tbh I've always wondered if Ayame's low popularity may have something to do with her route not giving her anything to do for most of it aside from sex, so the h-scenes are a bigger portion of it. 86% of her route is spent in H-scenes, as opposed to 65% for the Tsudanuma sibs, 73% for Yachiyo, and 69% (nice) for Kanae. (I ran the numbers on a lark early on in the project). I mean, the game is primarily about sex, but there's still a ratio of character development that's good to have.

Saving the longest for near-last huh? What an interesting coincidence!
