Official 2020 Project Announcment

My newest project is  恋踏~コイブミ~ , which I am choosing for the moment to TL as "Steps to Love".

Regarding scheduling:

I got a quick start on the game over the week, and I'm currently about 1/13 of the way through a first-pass rough translation of the Common route. I'm planning to do the game in 3 patches - Common, Sachiko Route, and Noe Route.  After the common patch, there will be a poll regarding which heroine route should be first. I have no idea how long it will all take (I'm also currently trying to alter text options/formats), but the Common route is about 1/3 the size of each heroine route, or about 1/7 the size of the whole game.

Regarding guidelines:

Koibumi is technically a little above my maximum length range (I believe it has 23~24 scenes), but it's not that far above it that it was a no-go. Also, it doesn't have any overly young heroines, but it does feature a CG with the heroine and the protagonist as children. I could see how that could be borderline, but the story frames it as a "wrestling as kids that led to characters' sexual awakening" moment. Frankly, that's not overly different from how the 2016 winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture did it. So it's something I'm fine with translating.

Comments

I'm making the decision not to reveal other games in the poll because imo they're all good and, in my experience, revealing that a title lost once tends to hurt its chances in the future. It's not like it's top secret, but I'm not gonna be the one to say.

wow mortalvyses thank you very much, for another project that you will do, I hope it will be a success and either by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021 it is already completed and ready to play, something else congratulate you for the comment above really that your way of organizing your I take work and take breaks, I am surprised sometimes, I even have to take 1 week or even a week to do little work to rest, but you have it with one day and you woooow seriously you surprise me mortalvyses 👍👍👍 now neither question, I hope I you can answer, well I'm sorry first of all that I'm notwell with money and therefore I can not be your patreon at the moment :( maybe a future is :D but well my question: I'm very curious to know what the other options were to choose and if you could also tell me what the results were, that is, by how many votes did this title win over the other options? and that was my question, again congratulations I hope it is a success and you can complete ar your fifth translation of NV femdom: 3

I do technically care a lot about overwork and stuff. Everyone has a different method to stay stable. I've found what works for me at present is this: -Take a minimum of one off day per week. That means OFF from actual paid-work related labor. (I usually spend it at the movies or a park.) -No work-related social media. (It's good for self promotion and objectively terrible for everything else.) -Take an actual vacation, (3+ days and a trip) every four months minimum. -Don't set expectations, or keep them extremely low. (If I didn't care about taking care of myself long-term, I could do somewhat more than I do now.) Koibumi is a fantastic story that goes through a couple different kinds of "romantic" relationships. It's absolutely going to be worth whatever wait there ends up being.

That's crazy work ethic tho, I thought you would at least take a few weeks break after finishing haha.
