7 lbs in a month is no slouch, especially for a guy over 50, good job. I've never seen that Burt Reynolds movie but it reminds me a bit of The Wrestler by the sound of it. That movie broke my heart and instilled a real fear in me about winding up old and alone. Then at work I hear things like people talk about the other bachelor there who is at least 20 years older than me and how he "never married and had kids" and is basically such a weirdo for it. Really makes you feel like a POS but fuck them, they have no idea I threw away a decade of my life to addiction and am just a guy with small goals trying to fly straight and keep his head down and earn his way in the world. And I'm doing it and am proud if it, they can all suck it. Think I need to find that movie...
