I Swear the Roswell Show Really Existed

In other news, I have started work on Scaramouche, but owing to really bad resolution and also the summer holidays, I don't know when it will be done, because I want it to be Properly Good :)

My roommate was blind-sided by a car going over double the speed limit of the street he was on, his car was totaled, he couldn't remember anything about what happened or even his name and if I hadn't been driving by and realized it was his car there's not telling what would have happened. We also stopped the obviously intoxicated lady from leaving by blocking in her car. Luckily he was fine in the long run (a concussion) but to this date he can't really remember that day. What does that have to do with Roswell? Well we started watching Roswell--this was about 2007--and suddenly the lady that hit him was on screen! She played a woman judging a musical act in the episode Blind Date. So that's my Roswell story 🤣 Also it may be the most 90s looking show I have ever seen! I wish it wouldn't. My personal fever dream show was The Flying House/Superbook, because I had to have dreamt bible stories and 80s anime designs.

2024-07-08 12:21:37 +0000 UTCI knew it existed only because the producers were quoted snarking off Smallville’s existence just after its premiere in 2001. But other than those quotes and as Katherine Heigl’s big break (thanks SO much for that) I’ve had no interaction with it.
