I wonder what you think of the iconic characters for the Pathfinder roleplay. Specifically: Kyra, Seelah, Valeros, Merisiel, Harsk, Amiri and Lini. My wondering does of course not put you under any obligation to tier them up. Especially since you apparently have a huge backlog of other people wondering the same about other characters. Still, one can hope. ;-) Kyra. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/pathfinder/images/2/23/Kyra.jpg/revision/latest Seelah. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/pathfinder/images/2/24/Seelah.jpg/revision/latest And if it helps, canonically Seelah has a helmet. It's an important part of her backstory even. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRsRp8pNZxIE_sBoPecjGRMxrcbC-dIEJH_yg&usqp=CAU Which makes it kinda weird that you can't find any images of her wearing the thing. Valeros. https://pacg.fandom.com/wiki/Valeros?file=Fighter_-_Valeros.png In his newest version he has a shield. But I can't find any decent links for that. A google search will help you. Merisiel. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/pathfinder/images/1/1f/Merisiel.jpg/ As you can see, Merisiel likes knives and other sharp things. She likes them a lot. Harsk. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8a/bb/fc/8abbfcb0c37397ab2db9fe648a230a9b.jpg Harsk likes tea. A lot. I don't know why I thought it necessary to tell you this, but there you go. Amiri. https://pathfinder.fandom.com/wiki/Amiri?file=Amiri.jpg I think I know in which tier she'll land... But she's canonically a bit of an idiot who thinks scars on her abdomen and torso are awesome... And yes, that sword was taken from a giant. She thinks she's awesome for using such a sword and... I'll admit that I'm inclined to agree with her on that. Lini. https://pathfinder.fandom.com/wiki/Lini?file=Lini.jpg There's others, but these are the core ones that wear armor. I mean, I guess I could ask your opinion about Seoni, Ezren, Lem and Sajan. They're all core iconics as well. But I think they'd all fall under "not actually armor".

I'd love to see what you think of all the various armor sets and styles from Diablo 3. One of the things I appreciated early on was that the armor really fit the character type, and the male and female characters were either covered up or uncovered to the same extent. Some of the females DO have high heels, but they look so cool i'm generally forgiving. Diablo 4 is supposed to launch in june, and I hope the armor is even better in that game. Video games have come a long way in armor design and I love to see ideas that are super creative, and yet not totally impractical.

I kinda hope they go on to book 4. From what I hear, we're at least going to get book 1 and 2.

Someone else remembers Tribe!

Another armor set I like is Hilde (aka Hildegard von Wolfskrone) from Soul Calibur 4, fighting with Standard/Lance and Shortsword. Googling "soul calibur IV concept art Hilde" the second result. In Soul Calibur 6 it got worse ...

Well It does cost Kellogg an arm and a leg to get it to me but it's he doesn't seem to mind too much

I never used to get armour on the back of MY cereal packets!

Nail on the head: The Atreides are definitely good by comparison to the cartoonishly evil Harkonnen, and much more sympathetically portrayed than House Corrino, but at least initially, the Fremen really just see them as another brand of outside oppressor. Also, they eventually go on to go bananas with power, but we probably don't need to worry about the sequels.

Honestly the Dune analysis is pretty spot on. Are they the goodies? Kinda. They are stern and uncompromising, but are still supposed to give off some "are we the baddies?" vibes.

A well earned cup of tea indeed. Never saw that tv show, and I'm feeling sad about that, so I'm just gonna guess somebody with brightly coloured hair and felt-tip face 'paint'. X

Great video to wake up to, always love a good laugh to start the day. I do have a couple of suggestions for you. The leather, metal, raider and combat armors from fallout 4. You get 3 different versions of each armor type basic, sturdy and heavy. With heavy offering the most protection at the cost, presumably, of mobility. Also I'd like to hear your take on Kelloggs armor in particular. Hope you're feeling better now

We knew what you meant 😊

I’m glad 😁

I remember The Tribe! I never caught more than an episode or two, though. It aired on a channel that we didn't have without cable, I think. It looked interesting, and reminded me of the Shadow run tabletop RPG meets up with, "A Girl Who Owned a City." (A book I read in middle school.)

Thank you, this makes me glad to have signed up, for some reason.

Another FABulous review! I do love a good armor review! ...I mean a good review of a mixed bag of armor, not a review of only good ar... you know, let's just leave it at that.
