Lil Gap Month bonus guy~

So I wanted to get a quick image set of the march bonus stuff for the people who were/are subbed for the March gap month~

I'm also gonna try to get that lil' skull head from the concept art to if I can manage it~

For the folks that were subbed for MARCH to the VoidCrafted/VC and Re-run tier, I'll have this one ready for you as thanks for subbing through the Gap month~
This will be a mostly pre-posed kit so you don't have to futz with getting it to look right, but will still have some pieces that can be swapped out for the more broken down stuff if you want to say use the floating waist but different legs/arms/etc~

I'm not sure how you don't have that bit on the plate if you just pulled a fresh copy from PWG, I just pulled download of the pre-plated files, and can confirm that the front waist armor is there on Pre-Plate 1 of 2, Same spot that I had it circled in that imgur link~ I have a dedicated discord server that's linked to the patreon: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Getting-Discord-access It's where I mostly post up the WIP images for whatever the current frame is, and there's a pretty decent community that's been built up~ But that would be the best place to share things and get advice on painting/printing/etc~ ~Pipes

I looked at the Imgur but I have re-downloaded the zipped file, and looked through everything and do not see that piece anywhere. Yeah, in Lychee I had to delete the braces, recalibrate the supports, fix whatever was colliding, and then printed, realized the issue and yes, at the original scale it doesn't need it, but at 180% plus the finger need some support, and the ribbon need additional support. SO COOL THOUGH! I'm practicing my glow effect to get it as close to your render as possible :) I'll print two test pieces and see what I like, but I suspect I'm going to like the acrylic rod much better, thank you for the information. I'll also likely use sand for the base or vegetation..Hmm anyways I'll redownload from PWG and see if I skipped a step by accident (user error always a possibility :? Btw, when I'm done is there a place, I can upload a photo to show it off? I took advantage of the discount code and bought a few models last night and am upsizing the Myriacor along with some of the Gobys and setting it up so their clumsy selves come across it :)

Yeah I figured, but man o man your prints look great at 180% upscaling!! Can't wait to upscale the recent large centipede looking think :) thank you for the information. Worth the monthly pledge, got three more models yesterday :)

https://imgur.com/a/CEehePb It's included in PrePlate one. The Stetson kit itself is more of an add-on kit for the original Lorcor kit, and it doesn't have any of the loose files from to lorcor kit included in it, with the exception of the preplate files so that it can still technically build one regardless of if you have the base lorcor or not~ As for upscaling that much, I'd recommend re-supporting or editing the lys files, as that large of an upscaling isn't taken into account when Atlas works on the supports~ As for the base, a 60-64mm base is what's shown and for anything floating I usually recommend using a 1/8-1/4" acrylic rod, and drilling or adding a slot wherever needed on the figure, but for the one I built I just slightly flat sanded the area of fabric that rests on the base and then glued that down~ ~Pipes

Chain of events...I saw a youtube video reviewing your models, I found said models on printedwargames, I purchased three different models, scaled them up 180% and I found for this model (Lorcor) Bigger Stetson, the front groin armor piece is not in the download files, and only the rear armor piece is present. I double checked the download, unzipped the files one by one, and nope, nothing in there. So, I joined your Patreon to let you know it's missing :) Could this be fixed and where would I download the piece from? Thank you, also, at 180% a few more supports are needed for the fingers since they fail, but so far it's going to make an awesome desk piece once I finish painting it...also is there a base for it, or a suggestion how to get it mounted to "float"?

I know you're doing lots (I'm keeping up on the discord and loving the regular updates, thank you) , but for these slightly larger frames are there going to be any bits we could use to, say, make the model look like a James Cameron movie combine with godly war?

I go through the same thing every few months. Start to get the Patreon bloat and gotta cut back - and every time Piper's newest stuff makes keeping her a no-brainer.

I was being so good about cutting back on the number of STL subscriptions I have, thinking, "I don't need these robots. I don't need them." And then you drop this. Oh well, might as well get the melee rerun, too, while I'm at it.

Lil? That thing doesn't look 'lil at all! Looks like a Luminora all growns up, and that sounds mighty troubling for anybody on the other side of it. Let it go play with the Chuckling Squid or something. I may not be able to do that OSL lighting justice but I'll be damned if I don't give it a shot painting it up!

Lovely!

that looks crazy

Looks amazing. Can't wait to print this one
