Added 2025-04-02 11:04:58 +0000 UTCThis was a really fun piece to work on- featuring a Warforged who was left abandoned for a few hundred years before being found by divers.
I tried my hand at throwing in backgrounds, textures and rendering in a less careful style while focusing more on the storytelling aspects. I also approached it very differently, in that I drew this draft and instead of cleaning it up I painted over it to get to the finished piece. This method felt a little clunky at times, but also kinda fresh? Definitely made for an interesting process

Awwh this poor sweet creature! π₯Ί she looks AMAZING! Kudos for trying new methods! I love the lighting... it feels so dank and depressing, yet there's just this little spark of hope.... is she free? Does the adventuring party do right by her? β€οΈβπ©Ή I hope they do!
