The new website is now live at http://descartes.fans. It should work more or less how it has, but there are some new features:
* Images are now hosted entirely on the server. They're stored encrypted and decrypted on the fly. This allows me to be more flexible with what I upload, without worrying about freaking out catbox.
* It's an SPA, which doesn't really add much value for you, but makes the next part possible:
* The actual website code is also stored encrypted, and nothing you do is transmitted to the server, which should help get around the lack of HTTPs until I get that sorted out.
* I've uploaded more images. :-)
Access code is still NS3PX
A couple of things to be aware of:
* To solve the problem of needing to download and decrypt dozens of preview images over and over again, the preview images are stored in your browser in IndexedDB. Only the preview images are stored, but this could add up to a few megabytes of data being stored.
* Obviously JavaScript has to be enabled for it to work.
For those of you who don't want to or can't use the website, there's a backup option at hxxps://mega.nz/folder/a4lxEQTA#ADUbTQk-2hMmgQMQuaW-Jg (replace the first two X's.).
