Tiers?
Added 2020-07-21 16:31:54 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I've been thinking for a while now about adding more tiers to my patreon and re-working things a bit.
When I first set this up it was literally just a monthly tip-jar for people to send a few $$ my way if they wanted. Now that I've started to use it much more actively, I've been thinking about moving the suggestions and voting to an upper tier.
The "Just a tip!" tier will remain and people will still be able to see all the art as I post it; so if you're here just to support a bit or see the art/wips earlier; that won't change - just the voting and suggestions that I'm thinking of reserving for a 'second tier'.
Obviously I'm not going to do this right away, but I wanted to hear what those who regularly participate feel about it. Please let me know!
Some of you already give way more than the minimum and probably don't need to worry! It's much appreciated.
Also I am open to hearing ideas for other perks, etc, if anyone has some.

EDIT: Differing voting powers suggested for other tiers; so all tiers can still take part in a vote. This could work.

Yeah I'm thinking of going that route; just so everyone can still vote. As for how to do it.. separate polls for separate tiers, I guess? Then I can tally them up at the end and if one has x2 power just double it. Yeah I'm thinking it's the way to go now to preserve interactivity. Thanks for the feedback!

2020-07-22 09:01:59 +0000 UTCI pretty much agree with Erasmus. Suggestions should definitly be a higher Tier. (Currently I feel like I got two 1€ commissions, which is why I increased my pledge). Different voting power is a good idea, tho I don't know if patreon lets you do that. As long as you don't go the "exclusive", or "timed exclusive" route, there should still be some interactivity for the lowest tier.

Then a vote for them where maybe their vote counts as 2 or 3 points and a 2nd vote for just tip thats 1 point per vote. Then allows people at tip to still participate some and higher still get a bit more of a bonus.
