“Hide over there, unnie!” Minsuk was pushing you aside as soon as the elevator took you to Taehyung’s apartment floor. “I’ll knock!”

“Okay, okay, I’m–”

“Shhhhhhh!” the little girl made sure you were out of view as much as possible before skipping happily to the front door.

You watched as the little girl smoothed out the front of her baby blue shirt and fixed the tiny backpack on her shoulder before knocking on the front door. The sound of her little fist against the wood was so quiet that you doubted Tae would have heard it if he was further away than the front hallway.

You had to bite your lips not to laugh too loud, receiving a shush! from the little girl as the front door was being unlocked. You couldn’t see Taehyung yet, only hear his sweet baritone when acted surprised about seeing your sister standing there.

“There you are!” Taehyung greeted her, crouching down to her eye level. “How did you get here, huh? Did you come aaaaall the way here on your own?”

“Yep!” Minsuk giggled, twisting her little body as your boyfriend tickled her neck. “It’s just me!”

“Good. I can’t stand your sister sometimes.” the man scrunched his face and you rolled your eyes. “We can just have fun without her nagging us about brushing our teeth and washing our hands–”

“Oh, is that what you think?” you came out of your poor excuse of a hiding spot and by Taehyung’s beautiful smile, he knew exactly where you were.

Keeping up with his little joke, Taehyung grabbed Minsuk’s arms and pulled her inside: “Come on, let’s run from her!”

Your sister squealed and rushed in with giggles of mischief and before you could step inside, the door of the apartment was closed in your face. While you were highly amused about Taehyung and Minsuk’s friendship –where he brought out a more troublemaker side of her–, it was also annoying to be left outside.

While you had the code of the door and could very well let yourself inside, you refused to. You crossed your arms against your chest and cocked your head, listening for the tiny steps rushing away as heavier ones still remained by the door.

When the door opened again, it was slow and careful. Taehyung’s mop of dark hair peeking from the small space to make sure you weren’t about to jump him. Panic flashed in front of his eyes as he saw how serious you were, making him open the door a little wider.

“Hi, baby, didn’t see you there–”

“You can take this,” you pushed Minsuk’s actual overnight bag into his chest, pretending to be mad. “And have a good day with her.”

“Wait, wait–” the man grabbed you by the waist after putting the bag aside; not that you even started moving away. “You can’t go!”

“I’m sorry, I was under the impression you can’t stand me, and I’m boring, and I don’t let you have fun and force you to eat vegetables!” you exaggerated dramatically, which is when Taehyung knew you were only playing; not holding back the cutest, fondest laugh as his hands linked behind your back. “It’s okay, if you don’t want me here, I have four other homes to go to–”

“Don’t even think about that, it’s my turn.”

Taehyung pulled you harder against his chest, starting to walk backwards as he pulled you inside the home, kicking the door closed once you were both secured and he could hide his face on your neck.

“Eeeeeeeew.” a high pitched complaint made Taehyung smack a kiss against your neck before letting go of you. When you turned to look at your sister, she had crossed arms and a twisted nose. “All of you kiss too much.”

You ignored the warmth in your face from the notion that your sister had probably seen you be kissed by seven different men.

“You want some too?” Taehyung was still unphased, turning to Minsuk with grabby hands.

“Ew, no!”

Minsuk started running away, which triggered Tae into chasing her around the house. Luckily Yeontan wasn’t back from his groomers yet, otherwise an even bigger chaos would install. You watched the two run in circles around the coffee table of the living room, taking your shoes off and picking up the overnight back to bring with you the guest bedroom that belonged to Minsuk tonight.

When you got back, Taehyung was holding a laughing Minsuk upside down as he pretended to feed her to his stuffed Sesame Street characters. Somehow you knew that if you sent a picture of that to Namjoon, he’d freak out and nag the other man into being more careful.

“I’m hungry, Tete.” Minsuk announced unceremoniously as she was gently dropped against the couch.

“Oh my god! So am I.” the man agreed, which didn’t surprise you at all. And then he looked at you over his shoulder and added: “Which reminds me…”

Tae helped Minsuk get up and jump to the floor, both of them heading towards the kitchen. You were picked up on the way, Taehyung’s fingers slipping into yours so you’d see–

“You went grocery shopping?” you asked as you were faced with the counter full of fresh produce, meat and snacks. “I thought we were ordering out.”

“We were,” Taehyung let go of your hand to wrap an arm around your waist. “But Suk deserves a home cooked meal, don’t you think?”

“I wanted to have McDonalds–” the little girl started pouting, crossing her little arms and stomping her foot.

“You had McDonalds with Mr. Yoonbi last night, tiny.” you reminded her, but it didn’t do much for her pout.

The more you looked at the groceries, the more you noticed how all of the items were exactly what you’d need to make one specific dish. And that’s how you knew Taehyung wasn’t thinking about your sister, but about himself and making you cook for him.

Ever since you met the boy, quite literally, he seemed to crave your Japchae recipe, going out of his way to pout and bat his lashes so you’d do his bidding. And you fell for it every time, without any fight.

“So?” Taehyung had a cheeky little smile that made his cheeks puff. He obviously knew you knew.

“How about we make some japchae, hm?” you offered, watching his face light up and Minsuk perk up.

“Or,” Taehyung started and you could see what was coming miles away. “Minsuk and I play with her new toys and you cook for us–”

“New toys?!” Minsuk squealed, starting to jump with so much energy and grabbing Taehyung’s wrist. “I want new toys!”

“All of you spoil her too much.” you grumbled, despite your full, warm heart. “She already got new toys from Yoongi yesterday.”

“That was from hyung, this is from me.” Taehyung rolled his eyes, crouching down to stay on Minsuk’s level to say: “First game… Treasure hunt. I hid your new toys in the living room, can you find them?”

“Yes!”

A second later Minsuk was looking at you to wait for your little nod of permission and darted off to look for her present. Tae waited for her to be gone before coming back to his normal height and turn back around to face you.

“A treasure hunt, huh?” you were grinning when he looked red in the cheeks.

“It’s just under the couch, she’ll find it in five minutes.” he stated cheekily with a shrug, taking a step forward and closer to you. “But I needed to get her to leave us alone, you know?”

“Oh, did you?” the closer he walked, the further back you went, until your backside was hitting the counter and you were caged in. “Why would we need to be alone?”

With a groan, Taehyung put his arms on either side of the counter behind you: “Minsuk complains every time we kiss you.”

“Maybe you should do it less, then.” you shrugged, already staring at his lips. Before he could call you out, you added: “Or just kiss me faster, because I think she found the toy.”

If the noise of wrapping paper being torn could tell you anything, it was the fact that Minsuk had found her little gift and would most likely come running sooner or later to show you and Tae.

And you were very greedy; you had seven boyfriends for a reason.

So before Tae could even react, you raised yourself on your tiptoes and pressed your lips against his. Taehyung wrapped his arms around you to pull you flush against his body and no matter how many times you kissed him over the years, you’d never get tired of it.

Your hands slipped into his hair just as his tongue slipped into your mouth. Any other day you might be a moaning mess with such a passionate kiss, knees wobbling as you felt his teeth scraping your bottom lip, but you had to hold back.

It felt like only a second had passed and you were already breathless, pulling your mouth away from Tae’s so you could breathe. His eyes were glossy and his lips were wet. The only thing stopping you from going in for another one was a very disgusted little girl standing just a meter away, with arms crossed and a twisted nose.

“I hope you don’t do that in front of Tannie.” she grumbled and you didn’t know if you wanted to hide in the pantry or laugh. Offering a tiny hand to your lover, Minsuk asked: “Tete, will you help me open my toy?”

You knew asking him to help you make lunch would be futile, so you let go of him and watched one of the men you loved skip away with the little human you would die and kill for. At least if Tannie was already back from being groomed, he would definitely stay in the kitchen with you.

Loyal little thing he was.

The japchae wouldn’t cook itself, so you got to moving around the kitchen you used more than the actual owner of the apartment. At this point, you were the one to buy most of the pans and utensils just for the nights you came over to cook Tae a homemade meal.

With the way he –and his brothers– spoiled you and your family, the least you could do was do the same for them.

As the vegetables cooked and the water boiled, you pulled out your phone from your pocket to see what all the buzzing was about; a few notifications from colleagues and social media, and one from a different lover.

You opened the camera of your phone to send Namjoon a selca of you showing him your tongue and maybe a little too much cleavage, but the buzzing of the device when you slipped it back into your pocket could only mean good things.

Finishing lunch and texting your lover at the same time only showed how good of a multitasker you were; the stove tops were off, the food was ready to be served. You just needed to call the two children to come and eat.

All while cooking, you could hear their laughs and voices, not really listening to their conversation, but knowing Minsuk only ever talked this much while in the company of your Bangtan boys. When you arrived in the living room, you caught your sister sitting on Taehyung’s lap as both of them played with the Play-doh barber shop kit.

“What do you think about being an aunt?” Taehyung asked her while reaching for a plastic scissor.

“Why would I want that?” she looked at him confused and you waited for them to resolve that subject on their own before calling them to eat. “I'd rather be a bee.”

Taehyung’s laugh was relieved as he explained: “No, not an ant. An aunt.”

“How can I be an aunt?” Minsuk wasn’t as invested in the conversation as she was in cutting the play-doh hair of the plastic man.

“When your sister has babies, you'll be their aunt.” the man carried on and you could tell this conversation meant a lot to him. “So you'll get to play with them, dress them up like little dolls–”

“Unnie can't have babies, she's not married.” Minsuk looked at Tae then, small eyes wide and scandalized.

“Not yet, but you see this ring?” you couldn’t see it, but you could tell Tae was showing her the ring he wore on his ring finger that matched yours. “It means we'll marry her one day.”

“I know, Mr Yoonbi explained it to me.” Minsuk told him in a know-it-all tone that made you hold back a laugh.

“Of course he did.” the reply was bitter, but Minsuk didn’t pick up on it; bless her innocent little soul.

“If unnie has babies... Who is the appa?” she asked, making you perk your ears to wait for his answer.

“All of us are going to be the appas.” Taehyung replied, making little stubborn butterflies take flight in your tummy.

“A girl at my school has two appas.”

“Yeah?”

“Mhm! She has a favorite, though.” Minsuk was nodding and you got ready to intervene.

“Who do you think will be the TinyTans’ favorite?”

“Mhmmmmmm.” her little finger was tapping her chin as if deep in thought.

“Hey, dinner is ready.” you called the two of them, knowing nothing good could come out of this.

“Just a second, pup, we're having an important discussion now.” Taehyung waved you off.

“I know, that's what I'm trying to avoid.” you grumbled, but he didn’t let it go.

“I think... Minini.” she finally answered.

And Taehyung gasped. “Jiminie?!”

“Yep!”

“Tiny, go wash your hands so we can eat.” you called the little girl again, watching her remove Tae’s arms from around her so she could stand up and look at you.

“Can we get ice cream for dessert?” Minsuk pleaded with big eyes she learned from Kook and palms pressed together.

“If you do as I say.”

That’s all it took for Minsuk to run to the guest bathroom down the hall to wash her hands, leaving all her new toys making a mess of the center table in the living room. Taehyung also didn’t bother cleaning up as he got up and turned to you with betrayal in his gorgeous face.

“Jimin?! I've been playing with her for the past hour and she thinks Jimin will be the favorite?” he pouted all the way closer to you.

“I'm surprised she didn't say Kookie or Yoongi.” you mused.

“You are not helping!”

You shrugged. “I tried helping, you didn't take the hint.”

“She doesn't think I'll be a good dad?” Taehyung’s brows were worried, making you take a deep sigh.

“She's seven years old.” you held his cheek, caressing it gently. “I think you're going to be a great dad. A real natural at it.”

“You're just saying that.” he started to melt a little, face leaning into your hand like a puppy.

“Would I lie to you?” you cocked your head to the side, searching his dark eyes to find his worry slowly leave. “Besides we still have a lot of time to learn and prepare ourselves.”

“Yeah, I guess you're right.” he nodded, leaning in to kiss your forehead.

“Ugh,” the little groan made the both of you look to your right. “Are you going to kiss again?!”

It was a funny scene, the four of you sharing Taehyung’s bathroom to get ready for bed. While the man was shaving what little facial hair he’d grown out over the weekend, Minsuk was standing in a little stepping stool to brush her teeth between you, you were finishing your skincare, and Tannie was laying on the fluffy rug in front of the shower stall.

“Appa said I’m going to learn how to swim!” Minsuk spoke through a mouthful of toothpaste foam. She was telling Tae about all of the fun things she’d get to do when they moved to Seoul.

“Did you know Taetae is a really good swimmer?” you told her as you closed your eyes to mist some toner on your cleansed face.

“Really?” the little girl moved beside you, turning to your boyfriend with excitement.

“I’m not that good.” Taehyung played coy, raising his shoulder while being a little shy.

“I can show you videos of him in Hawaii.” you ignored the man’s embarrassment. “He dove the deepest of all the boys.”

“Did you reach the bottom?” Minsuk grabbed Tae’s arm, making you glad the razor was away from his face.

“I did.” he nodded, wanting to impress her. “Got a pretty rock, too.”

“I want a pretty rock from the bottom of the ocean!” Minsuk jumped and this time you were worried about her tripping and falling.

“If I can find it, it’s yours.” the man assured her, reaching out to hold her shoulders with the same nerves as you. “That way you can put it in your new bedroom.”

“Really?! Thank you, thank you!” Minsuk kept trying to jump, making both you and Tae a little desperate.

“Okay, time for bed. We need to leave early tomorrow.” you gently moved your sister off the stepping stool, despite her pouts. “Say goodnight and I’ll tuck you in.”

“Okaaaaaay.” Minsuk rolled her eyes, making you sigh and wait for her to hug Taehyung’s legs. “Goodnight, Tete.”

“Goodnight, little thing.”

Taehyung leaned down to kiss the top of her head before letting her go. You followed the too excited little girl and Yeontan followed the two of you out of the master bedroom.

The guest room Taehyung had fixed up for your sister to sleep in tonight was just across the hall, close enough that the two of you would hear her if she called in the middle of the night. The bed was big enough to fit four Minsuks at once, but it was filled with extra pillows and some of Taehyung’s personal plushies so she wouldn’t feel so alone.

The night lamp next to the bed was new, Frozen themed, and let out a soft blue glow that illuminated the entire bedroom and wouldn’t keep her awake longer than ten minutes. Like you, Minsuk was a good sleeper.

“Did you have fun today?” you asked her as you fluffled the pillows and pulled the sheets just enough so she could slide inside.

“I did! A lot of fun.” she nodded while jumping on the bed to hide under the covers and hug an Elmo plush.

“Then why do you look so sad?” you gently probed as you sat on the edge of the bed.

Minsuk’s round eyes were wide, as if she didn’t think you’d notice the little telltales that something wasn’t quite right with her. The signs were minimal and went right over Tae’s head, but you still noticed.

“I didn’t want today to end.” Minsuk explained, letting go of the pent up excited energy, a small pout forming on her lips. “We didn’t have time to watch all the movies I wanted.”

“We can do that next time, yeah?” you promised.

“When?”

“Next time you visit.” you pinched her little cheek, making her smile a little. “I’m also coming home next week, so we can watch them with appa.”

“What about Tete?” her pout grew.

“What about him?”

“I wanted to watch them with him.” she groaned, hiding a yawn behind the plushie. “He’s really funny.”

You smiled. “He is, isn’t he?”

“A little silly, too.” she giggled. “I love him.”

“He loves you too, I know it.” you told her without a single doubt in your heart. “And so do the others.”

“I love the others too.” she added quickly, as if scared the others might be upset if she didn’t say it. “I want to find a boyfriend as cool as yours. Maybe I’ll have eight!”

“I don’t know, tiny, they are a lot of work.” you wheezed, not quite sure how Appa would take those news.

“Yeah?” she laughed, not really mature enough to really understand what you meant.

“Mhmm. They want to kiss you alllll the time.” you twisted your nose and made a kissy face as if you were about to attack her.

“Ewwwwww, stop!”

You didn’t stop, smacking wet kisses on her cheek to make her laugh and wipe her cheek while kicking you away.

“Have a good night, okay?” you got up from the bed, looking around to see the small dog passed out and snoring at the foot of the bed. “Tannie will protect you.”

“Goodnight, unnie!”

You made sure Minsuk was tucked in and had her eyes closed before leaving the bedroom. You left the door ajar, knowing she’d get scared if you closed it all the way.

Taehyung was still making the bed when you joined him in the room, also not closing the door in case your sister needed anything in the middle of the night or she decided to explore on her own.

“I am spent!” you let your body fall against the mattress, body finally resting after being on your feet all day. “I love her to death, but god does she have high energy.”

“You didn’t live with Jungkookie when he was sixteen.” Taehyung laughed, joining you in bed. “You don’t know what high energy is.”

“From what I hear, you were even worse than him.” you pointed out, turning sideways to look at him with your head on the pillow.

“A little, I guess.” he shrugged. “Or at least the same.”

“I can’t really picture you being that chaotic.” you commented while hiding a yawn behind your hand. Taehyung was already a special man nowadays, you couldn’t imagine him being as energetic and crazy as he was during debut years. “I’ve seen videos of your younger days, of course, but you’re just so different as a man.”

“Guess I just grew up.” his smile was tired but honest.

Taehyung laid on his side, too, facing you and pulling the lux covers to rest on your ribs. You scooted closer to him to get a little more of his warmth.

“Mhm, you grew into an amazing person.” you only needed to pucker to kiss his chin.

“You think so?” he smiled, wrapping an arm around your waist.

“I know so. I fell for you.” you grinned. “I wouldn’t have if you weren’t.”

“What does that make you, then?” Taehyung slowly turned the two of you on the bed, laying on top of you.

“Insanely lucky.”

Your legs tangled as Taehyung held his upper body up with elbows and forearms next to your ribs. The only light in the room came from a warm lamp on the nightstand, casting beautiful shadows on his gorgeous face. His hair was long and just a little darker than the blonde he sported during Layover filming and promotions.

You pushed his fringe away from his eyes, scratching his scalp and making him close his eyes in bliss. Taehyung leaned down, lips ghosting yours for you to part your mouth for him.

“Unnie.” the little voice and steps coming from the hallway made Taehyung scramble and move away from you as if you were a hot potato. Looking at the entrance, you saw Minsuk push the door open all at once, holding Tannie in her little arms. “Can we sleep here?”

“Yeah, tiny, what’s wrong?” you wheezed a little sitting up so fast you barely avoided whiplash.

“Can’t sleep.” she grumbled.

Taehyung was already up on his feet to rush to the little girl. “You know what always makes me sleepy?”

“What?” she perked up, gently placing Tannie on the floor.

“Some warm milk.” the man was crouching in front of her to offer: “Want me to make you some?”

“Yes please.” she nodded, rubbing her sleepy eyes. “Can I help?”

And just like that you were left alone with Tannie while your boyfriend and your sister walked away for more bonding time. And you couldn’t help but picture how he’d be with your kids.

Even if it was still too soon, you couldn’t help but crave something that wasn’t yours yet.
