Fallen Order solution remade

I've been putting hours into messing with various games, such as Dark Devotion as mentioned in the previous post, a bit of Dragon Age Origins again, and a bit more of Zone of the Enders, and possibly other games I can't think of! None of those attempts resulted in a solution, and as I looked through the list of the latest requests on WSGF, I could not find any other games that I owned or had review access to.


Then something reminded me of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and so I installed the game to see if I could revisit my solution from late 2020 (eventually covered by WideAsFcuk). I still remembered the requests for automating the FOV adjustment at the cutscenes, though at the time I simply could not detach the operations responsible for the gameplay FOV from the cutscenes.

Having lost the code of the trainer with my hard drive but now coming from my more complex solutions, I not only found the relevant functions being affected at the cutscenes but also managed to think up a script that would essentially check for a condition specific to cutscenes and then execute my function if so. As always, it feels amazing to have implemented something never done by me before, seeing the very results in the game.
While doing the above, I also improved the field of view changer functionality to have the trainer adjust it directly and display the current value in real time. An earlier attempt to do it around December 2020 caused me to have to roll back due to reported issues.

The PCGamingWiki server admin updated the IP Board platform that powers the community site today, so while the new file can be found at the old URL, the file description is currently unchanged - something to keep in mind!
