It certainly can help mitigate the risk of a spin. Thank you for giving more detail than I included.

So it sounds like in this case the "forged carbon fiber" is not holy, not Roman, and ... er, I mean, isn't forged and also isn't (entirely) carbon fiber, making the title doubly accurate. Well done!

If I had a nickel for every time Matt has wasted what could have been a perfectly good sandwich on his channel, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's funny that it's happened twice.

Actually, someone (an aerospace engineering student) commented to say, "it is for stability in a stall-spin scenario, or rather, it prevents a stall spin from developing."
It's good to know that Matt's car will not go into an aerodynamic stall-spin.

Will the ham sandwich emit gas as it decomposes? Will your tail fin eventually burst?

I want the "Good Enough" sticker, unfortunately Patreon doesn't accept my shipping address because I live in one of those made up countries that aren't the US.

Dude, you are a nut.
A heroic nut who does things I never will, but still a nut.
I admire you for that.
Also, the extra dorsal fin on aircraft just increases the area of the vertical stabilizer, AFAIK.
