But something that would eventually morph into something that is still competed for in the modern day.
And there was another new concept in 1970 too...

2025-06-25 13:27:37 +0000 UTCAt least one of your patrons was at that final Anglo Scottish cup final. It was awesome! You said that the standard of teams had gone down, but that 1980-81 competition was weird. A lot of the top flight Scottish teams were in it, but mostly lower level English teams, except for one from the top division (losing finalists Notts County). I want it noted for the record that Chesterfield beat Rangers in the semifinal, which was even more awesome than the final!
