Update for the week ending on 10-03-25

Chapters written

This week was ordinary. So three chapters for Mind Your Step, three for The Technician’s Fight, one for The Daughter, and one for Harker.

The initial chapters, the one for last weeks, didn’t have as many changes as I expected. Altering the setup to how Jeremy’s first mission happened, and the ‘making time pass’ chapter didn’t require as much as I expected. Especially the waiting chapter. I fully expected that one to be completely altered, but most of what happened to Jeremy still fit.

After that, though? Yeah, this mission will be completely different.

Chapters edited

The chapters from the previous week were edited and scheduled. Nothing notable came up during that.

Other stuff

Only other thing to note was that I had my PreOp meeting on Thursday. It isn’t my first one, and it’s nothing more than going over, three times, the medication I already take, then explaining what I need to do to prepare for the operation.

While I am certain there is a valid reason to be asked, three times, what my meds are, it feels like an utter waste of my time. I’m checked in, they write down my meds. I’m sent to wait for the nurse to interview me. She asks me for my meds and writes that down. Goes over the procedures, then sends me off to wait for the pharmacist to talk with me. She asks me for my list of meds, which she writes down. Goes, okay, we’re done, and sends me off.

Really? I can reason the first two as a way to ensure no mistakes is made, but then why the third? Especially when it’s just them writing down the information and not giving anything in return?

Anyway. With that done. Everything in set for my hospital stay on the 16th
