Hi! I apologize for the slight delay, after the release of 0.09, I decided to reinstall my OS for better work, after all, I haven't reinstalled it for 4 years :D
I also updated the task list for the upcoming update and added several items there based on feedback from testers and players. The update is planned to be larger in volume than usual, so I will say right away that the development will take much more than usual.
In the meantime, I would like to discuss with you some interesting and sometimes controversial planned content.
• Getting perks for your activity
All perks in the game will not be available for purchase, but they can be obtained for activity. For example: Collect 25 nettles and get a perk that will allow you not to take damage when collecting nettles. Or skin 10 animals and get a small chance to get an extra item.
I will say right away that this is a controversial idea, but it fits perfectly into the current system of skills improvement. In addition, I plan to add hints. As an example: when you receive a perk, the perks next to it on the perk tree would show you condition for receiving it, so that it is easier for you to understand what to do to unlock.
• Multiple slots for quick saves
Definitely in my plans to add several slots for saving the game, because you have asked me about it more than once. But there was also an idea to make several slots for quick saves. It looks like this: when you click the quick save button, the game will be saved as "playerName_Quicksave_#1", and when you save it later, the game will not overwrite this quick save but create the following with index #2: "playerName_Quicksave_#2". And so in a circle until it reaches the maximum value that can be specified in the settings, and then it will overwrite the current quick save from the first index.
• Updated crafting
There are several menus planned in the crafting menu: fuel, tools and crafting. When you click each one, the camera will move to a certain position on the stove where certain variables will be displayed.
The fuel will display the amount of firewood in the furnace and the ability to pick up charcoal and ash for future crafting.
The tools will show the tools available for crafting: a frying pan, a pan... They can be taken away, put or replaced with better ones.
And the old craft, which will contain a little new functionality, and so everything is the same.
These innovations will allow to split the functionality into submenus, so as not to pull everything in one place. Crafting really lacks refinement, because most often players either cant craft potions/food, or vice versa, everything comes out at the maximum quality level.
What do you think about these ideas?
