Most of the time I just assume I'm going to spend the flight making a new friend. I don't go out of my way, it's just my dad was a good small talker and my mom harped on social graces. I have a habit of making people open up to me. They tell me shit they wouldn't tell anyone else.

Nice dialogue with cousin Maggie. I have heard. I make acquaintances in planes and trains as well, and this happens quite by accident.
