Gaming Historica/Retro Art Gallery | Zack McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders | FM Towns

Zack Mckracken and the Alien Mindbenders was one of only few Lucasfilm Games released for Fujitsu's Japan only FM Towns computer in 1988. It used CD-ROM and the FM Towns was one of the first system to have games made with CD-ROM disc, even before PC Engine. It had very good graphics update compared to the PC versions. It was a little like brother sequel after Lucasfilm's Maniac Mansion and also a point and click adventure.

Included is a high resolution scan of character Leslie Benntt, possibly from the manual.

FM Towns can now be emulated, so you can try this! It also appeared on the following computer platforms: Commodore 64, Amiga, Amiga OS, Windows, Atari ST, DOS, MAC OS.

Thank you for reading this history!
