South Park Season 13 Episode 8! (Dead Celebrities)

I am baaaaaack! And oooooooh boy this is a particularly long reaction/analysis video now it's it?? It's practically twice as long as the episode itself!

Again, apologies for being a little MIA recently, but with videos and Thankmas in particular really taking a shitton of energy out of me, I've been drawing a big art project and playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild a bunch in the last few weeks, and just flat out avoiding video projects, recording OR editing.

But now I'm feeling back to my old self, and it really made sense to start off with a South Park video for patrons. So yeah!

We're about halfway through Season 13 now, and this episode was chalk full of references and people and ideas, and very clearly I had a lot to say about a bunch of things. As usual the South Park characters are being ridiculous...though this time most of that ridiculousness comes from the kids themselves. Interesting change of pace, isn't it?

Explosive burritos, child pageants, and as the episode is titled dead celebrities.....there's a lot to cover in this one, huh?

Remember the episode with John Edwood? For me, it seems that Trey and Matt are open-minded and don't dismiss the possibility of ghosts, the afterlife, and God, they do treat shows and celebrities like John Edwood, Ghosthunters, and Bigfoot hunters as clowns and frauds who are either delusional or obvious con artists. Well, that's how I see it.

Very true. Much as I don't like him or his music, he did influence the music industry with his voice and style. Prince is one of the biggest artists I know who took inspiration from MJ.

Gotta say the jokes in this episode are great! I remember Michael's death. It was the first one i thought of watching this episode. It impacted a lot of people heavily. You can think whatever you want about the man, but there's no doubt about the impact he left on music and people.
