South Park Season 11 Episode 3 (Lice Capades)

I was most certainly thoroughly confused with the B-plot of this episode, understandably! South Park certainly has its moments of throwing random nonsense at its viewers, even if various plots do make sense when put together. I didn't have too many thoughts on this, and I could not quite identify the references.
I definitely got to do some more research; there's more than The Thing and global warming and [potentially] The Day After Tomorrow vibes happening all at once in this particular episode.
