South Park Season 15 Episode 5! (Crack Baby Athletic Association)
Added 2024-10-16 12:00:13 +0000 UTCSo, this is a title for an episode.
And somehow, Cartman managed to rope Kyle in on one of his rather dastardly schemes. KYLE of all characters. And Kyle's not the only one. They're doing something....well, I'm not sure if heinous is quite the right word, but certainly immoral.
And surprisingly I do manage to pause a number of times to talk about little things here and there, so there's that!

And strangely consistent, despite it being an episodic show. I definitely noticed that even in this episode!

If Kyle disapproves of what Stan is doing, he'll yell, lecture, protest, and walk away. Stan can be found yelling or loudly lecturing sometimes, but his approach is usually more quiet, reserved. His approach to just let Kyle argue with himself about the morality of what he's doing. He expressed discomfort and disappointment sure, but he doesn't even get mad at Kyle. Maybe it's because Stan doesn't usually stand on a soapbox like Kyle does on occasion. If Stan is mad it's usually about something that personally affects him. It's fascinating to me.

2024-10-17 03:30:06 +0000 UTCIt’s amazing this episode came out in 2011, and South Park rightly mocked the fact that the NCAA doesn’t compensate their athletes despite all the revenue they bring in (especially in football and basketball). Tickets, merchandise, ads, tv revenue etc. However finally within the last couple of years, the NCAA has gotten sued so many times, they are finally getting around to paying student athletes salaries
