NRaO Chapter 50

Gin violently puked as his stomach was struck again. I continuously made sure to beat him harder than the rest of my students. They needed to be taught but he needed to be taught more. Another punch lands across his face before Ami shouts. “Enough sensei! You can’t keep beating us like this!” I wiped the blood off my hands with a handkerchief as I spoke. “No, I’ve clearly failed as your sensei if you can still be injured during missions. I think the only way you’ll learn is through pain.”

I looked at them all and they were covered in cuts and bruises. Ami clenched her hands into fists as tears formed at the corners of her eyes. I guess I’ll have to explain myself more. “Do you know why I picked you five to teach?” The sudden question had them all questioning why. “It was because you were strong but also because of who you are. Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hyuga, and Civilian backgrounds. We have the five main powers in the village shown through you children.”

I picked Gin up and brushed the dirt from his clothes before I wiped the blood from his mouth. “All of you will become pillars for the village when you grow up and become powerhouses for your perspective clan or group. If any one of you dies then the power balance of the entire village could be put at risk.” I had to take in a long breath to calm myself down as I continued.

“So when Gin comes back, Gin who is an Uzumaki. Gin who could become the first Uzumaki clan head inside the village of Konoha. Gin the person who could bring our ties with the village hidden in the whirlpools closer with an eye missing. Gin who almost lost his eye to a genin right after you were all promoted to chunin. It makes me question why Hiruzen made you chunin. Your first B-rank mission shouldn’t have been without assistance.”

To be fair they did take part in the war. They sat in the main camp while the few strong enough to fight without the risk of death did most of the work while the spies for Hiruzen kept dying trying to gain information on us. Might Dai did supreme work during the war and very few people will know how much he altered it because he was my hidden trump card now.

I have no doubts he could kill or severely injure just about anyone who wasn’t a jinchuriki. Once he creates the final version of his taijutsu I have no doubt he could beat them as well. I clearly made a mistake thinking that my students who were as strong as me at their age were ready for missions involving life or death. They were still too naive, even Hiami would have been hit by the surprise attack.

I gently push Gin towards the rest of them before I ask. “What was the mission you were sent on?” Ami answered again. “It was to save the civi-.” I cut her off. “NO! It had nothing to do with civilians. Your mission was to kill the bandits and deserter ninjas. You could have killed all the civilians and you’d have still accomplished your mission. You went with the information you had and fell for a trap the average genin wouldn’t fall into.”

I began cycling chakra, they had mostly been depleted and tried their best to prepare for what I was doing. A dozen clones came out and began to beat them again as I taunted. “You’re the best of the best. Each of you will be leading your groups in the future, so what will you do when you’re outnumbered? What will you do when you’re supposed to die?”

As Gin turned and ran and the rest followed him I couldn’t help but smirk. “There you go. Now you’re thinking like leaders. When you go out on missions and you need to kill. You don’t relax until you’re back inside the village. I’ll make sure you can’t relax as I attack you over the next few days until you no longer drop your guard even while you sleep.”

Watanabe Uchiha downed his beer. He had just returned from his mission. All of his teammates died defending a civilian village the Hidden Stone attacked. Wave after wave hit the village as they overwhelmed them through sheer numbers. It took his eyes evolving to three tomoe to survive and he was finally relaxing as the sole survivor of the mission. Only two other civilians survived before reinforcements arrived.

He waved for another beer as he tried to calm his nerves. He couldn’t believe how unlucky he had gotten. The Uchiha who were sent to defend the Hidden Mist were already home and celebrating their quick mission. Some had gone to support the other warfronts but most had served and were fine returning. He kept sipping and felt even more dizzy than normal, was this beer stronger than normal?

As he kept drinking he didn’t realize the beer was laced. He didn’t realize someone had his eye on him. As he walked outside and puked in the alleyway he didn’t even get the chance to cry for help before a giant snake began to swallow him whole. The gigantic snake shifted and morphed back to a normal human as his eyes shifted. One developed three tomoes while the other shifted to white.

The man let out a laugh. “Fufufu. What an amazing kekkei genkai. It seems they complement each other.”

I had been experimenting on the six swords of the mist as I learned more and more. Would it be possible to kill someone in such a way to guarantee a spirit weapon? That was what I was testing along with strengthening the weapons themselves. To be honest, they were too niche to be useful to anyone with any skill. If you gave the weapons to children to cover glaring weaknesses they might be useful.

I had several ways to strengthen them but the easiest to improve was the executioner's blade. Breaking it down to almost nothing and then feeding it different types of blood while reinforcing it with stronger metals I had evolved it into something far stronger than it originally was. The type of blood affected how the weapon would grow so feeding it special blood was the best option for improving it.

I got a few vials of Chiko’s blood and added it to the weapon. It allowed the weapon to control itself somewhat and strengthen the metal while hardening it even further. A small wound could suck out blood from the injured person. I was looking for other ways to improve each weapon along with breaking off the improved executioner’s blade metal stronger than normal iron for testing.

Could I feed it or make chakra metal with the executioner’s blade? More testing needed to be done but I think with enough research it would be possible to get something at the same level if not better. The executioner’s blade could be the mother of many strong weapons as I kept feeding it special blood and materials to try and perfect the process.
