We decided to do a video about all the exhausting Comic Con announcements and did a Midsommar discussion while we were at it, as well as a lengthy discussion of the Picard trailer. 2019-07-24 12:25:47 +0000 UTCNot sure if this comes up in the Picard discussion or not, I know Rich & Mike have previously noted their concerns with Kurtzman at the helm - but as far as I understand it Kurtzman is now overseeing the overall Trek franchise, but the day to day writing/showrunning on Picard specifically is in the hands of Michael Chabon, who is a great writer of Wonder Boys, Spiderman 2 (the great Raimi one) and is a pullizter prize winning novelist, so hopefully that makes a difference
