James Hunter - Project Updates!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t been on to reply to comments for a while. Things have been crazy around here. We had DragonCon, which is always a great event, but it sure is a lot of work and hardly anything else gets done! Then, once we got back, my wife (and our nanny) ended up getting Covid, so I’ve been busy, busy, busy taking the kiddos to school and soccer games and choir practices and a hundred other things over the past couple of weeks. Then, to top it all off, I got locked out of my Patreon account, so I couldn’t even post an update!

But, finally!, I got that issue resolved, my wife is back on the mend, and I’m busy working once more. So, I wanted to give everyone an update of what’s coming down the pipe since Vigil’s Valor is officially done and up for all of you to read.

First, I know I have some Shadowcroft Academy fans hanging around here. Book 3 is almost done and I am going to be posting new chapters three times weekly so be on the look out for that! For those who HAVEN’T read Shadoecroft yet, you’re missing out. And to rectify that, I’ll also be posting a copy of book one for you to all download, courtesy of the amazing Shadow Alley Press.

Second, Wasteland Warlords episode 2 is also done. It turned out even better than I expected and eden and I are already hard at work on episode 3. I’m going to be posting that to Royal Road, but I’m going to do a five chapter dump today, so that you guys are ahead of the game. Then I’ll be posting twice weekly until the whole thing is up here on Patreon.

Last but not least. Vigil Bound 3, Vigil’s Balance! I’m very happy to say that the outline for book 3 is officially done (outline are a big part of my process and take a lot of time for me to write up), and I’m starting to actually write the third book. Generally, I like to have about 10 chapters done before I start posting. That way I can do consistent releases and I have a little time to at least do a rough editorial pass before posting them. So, I will start posting Vigil Bound 3 chapters October 10th. It might be before then if the words really are flowing well, but it won’t be any later than that.
