Acting as if you are your ideal self is exactly how you will become so. Here's why:
"Anytime you question your identity, or… go looking for advice on how to change some aspect of it… you’re bound to meet with a certain cliché, an expression trotted out as advice to anyone looking to reshape their life. The idea that all you have to do… is fake it till you make it.
And this idea can be true; but oftentimes, this idea of “faking” it stirs subconscious resistance… even if unaware of it, there’s a sense that if you “fake” being who you are… it will never become real.
So I prefer to use the expression “act as if”. Instead of faking that you are something… act as if you are that person, act in the ways that person would… because my answer to the question, of what makes you you… what defines you as an individual… is the combination of how you think… how you feel… and how you behave. The three form a perfect loop; how you behave affecting how you feel, and how you feel affecting how you behave… the choices you make, the actions you take that can take you further now every day towards that idealized vision of self…
The thoughts, feelings, behaviour cycle… that’s what they call it. And understanding this cycle, and how to use it to your advantage… is exactly how you will experience the changes you want to.
Because if this cycle of thoughts, feelings and behaviour is what defines us… then embodying the cycle of the person you want to be is what makes you that person; no more, and no less.
What is a himbo, but a man who thinks, feels and acts like a himbo? So, the reverse must be true; if you are a man who thinks, feels and acts like a himbo, then you must be… a himbo. "
This file is, in a way, a successor to Hypnoslut/Self-Sculpture in that it's more of a hypnotic enhancer than something designed to affect change directly... buuuut, it's more action-oriented than those two.
I often speak in files about how, ultimately, hypno isn't a silver bullet. Me chanting "you are jock now 🪄🪄" is not what will make your life change. It's not what will make YOU change. I serve to educate, empower and explain aspects of this "character" to you, to help make it more appealing and pleasurable... but there will still come a point where conscious, active CHOICE needs to be taken by you in the waking world to change how you want to.
The Thoughts/Feelings/Behaviour cycle I talk about here is a concept from cognitive-behavioural therapy. It speaks to how these three factors affect and feed into one another, and how we can change any of the other two by choosing just one of them. Today, I focus on thoughts/behaviours, and want to help you see that you can begin to change yourself by simply... acting as if you already are that which you wish to be.

CONTENT WARNINGS:
The only real "warning" to give here is that this file specifically encourages you to begin "acting as if" you're your ideal self... or, more specifically, taking the actions you associate with that destination. I can't guarantee how this will manifest, but I consider it an important mindset shift in a journey of transformation and one you need to dabble with to discover your limits therein.
