Only someone who has literally never left the city would call Buffalo Upstate NY. Upstate is full of weird ex-NYC Karen’s. It’s western NY, thank you. 3. Yes, we’re pretty much Canadian and 4. Hochul sucks according to a lot of Buffalonians. What a disappointment.
