New issue - Storyological special issue!

This week, we're delighted to once again crossover with the magical folks of Storyological in today's special issue. For this issue, Storyological hosts E.G. Cosh and Chris Kammerud selected "Fisherman" by Nalo Hopkinson and "Directions" by Judy Budnitz, which we're reprinting this week. Tune into their podcast to hear them discuss the stories, and be sure to support their work on Patreon.
We're also pleased to bring you Lulu Kadim's interview with Becky Chambers, author of The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, A Closed and Common Orbit, and Record of a Spaceborn Few.
As for reviews, we're kicking this week off with Charlie Scott's review of Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse, with reviews of I Stole You by Kristen Ringman and The Haunting of Hill House to come later this week.
Finally, Strange Horizons' annual fundraiser is happening! Pop on over to Kickstarter to help us fund out next year of thought-provoking content. We've just hit the $7,000 mark, which means we're just about halfway there to our $13,000 goal. Of course, we'd love to surpass that and hit a few of our exciting stretch goals, too.
Here's a taste of what we have planned:
- We need $13,000 to fund the basic running costs of the magazine for 1 year
- At $14,500 we'll run a special issue packed with international SFF
- At $16,000 we'll run a special issue focused on web comics
- At $21,000 we'll be able to 🎉 pay our staff 🎉for the first time in our history
- If we hit $23,000 we'll unlock the first secret stretch goal
- And at $25,000 we'll unlock the second secret stretch goal!
