2022-11-04 18:04:46 +0000 UTCMy wife and I moved cross country from West Hollywood, CA to Central New York. A 10-day drive because I don't drive so she had to do it all herself. With two dogs. We sold ALL of our furniture and just packed what fit in boxes and used U-Haul (I think?) to move. Costly, but quick and worth it. What we hated the most was doing the ACTUAL packing. And after living in our first house for 2yrs we are already preparing to move again! It's a different beast when you move from an apartment vs moving from a house. You just don't realize how much stuff you've accumulated!
