Dec/Jan Patreon Exclusive: Saint Helena and St. Helen's Cathedral!

Good evening guys! ⚔️

First of all, hope you all are having a great Christmas and holidays in general, spending some time with the family and friends, and of course... the hobby! 😋

Today we want to show you a very special thing we have been working on the last few days, that will be the December and January Patreon Exclusive "miniature". We are plesed to present you Saint Helena, The Savior of the Broken, and the St. Helen's Cathedral. 🏛️

The idea behind this Patreon Exlcusive was to keep working on the background story of the Empire of Sun's religion, and to complement the Inquisitorial Band and the Fanatical Zealots from this December Release. Saint Helena will be one of the main saints that will be venerated by the citizens of the Empire of Sun. This "faith-based" religion will be split in different divisions / distinct religious bodies, with their own warriors followers units. For Saint Helena we will see a full female nun warriors unit in the future. 

For Saint Helena we have try to implement again some photogrammety techniques to allow us capture the amazing quality of real sculptures. In that case, this sculpture is based on the an angel at the cemetery in Purkersdorf, Austria. Let us know in the comments if you would like to see some videos about photogrammetry for 3D printing! 

Also, as you can see in one of the preview images, the size of this sculpture is quite big, but you will be able to print Saint Helena with any resin printer you have.

We also wanted to create a big bulding as a display piece to accompany Saint Helena, so we look for Gothic Cathedrals references and we saw the amazing Bayeux's cathedral from France, the one we have been using as main reference for the St Helen's Cathedral due to its amazing design but also to its perfect balance between details and simple areas. 

Unlike Saint Helena, the St Helen's Cathedral it is designed and will be split in pieces for bigger resin printers, like the Elegoo Saturn, the Anycubic Mono X and so on. We decided to go that way because we want to create a really big building to represent the magnificence of this Cathedral, similar to the real cathedrals from our world. The Cathedral comes split in some modular pieces so you can create some variations with the files as you can see in the last two preview images, or create your own design! 

The files are available in the Drive Archive, and will be available for both December and January patrons at the end of January through MyMiniFactory.

We will make one more post in a couple of days talking about the miniatures from the January Release and, of course, the final design for the Steam War Machine that will come in January!
