Great news Emperor,
The gold shipment has finally arrived to Wittemberg and our workers have almost finished the the new Imperial Gunpowder School. It’s been a long journey since the first stones were planted here a decade ago, but finally Wittemberg is ready to show to the entire Empire of Sun the skills of their arquebusiers. This building is going to be the center of innovation around the firearm weapons, with new technologies that are being developed right now, like the long arquebus and some kind of small arquebus which can be used by our arquebusiers while riding, something that our engineers call “pistol”.
The first regiments of arquebusiers will be ready to deploy in our frontiers in a few weeks, and along with them, the Black Riders with this new technology, the pistols.

Today we can show you the first miniatures we’ve been working on for the August Release. This time we wanted to bring something from the ‘lore’ to live, so we’ve created the gold wagon from the shipment arrived to Wittemberg.
We’re having too much fun working on these arquebusiers. We always wanted to create these kinds of miniatures, with big firearms and cool things. Along the weekend we’ll finish the last male arquebusier, the two female arquebusier and the captain, and the first unit will be ready. The arquebuses have also an optional "smoke and bullet" decoration to simulate firing.
Also, we’re working on the Black Riders, a classic armored cavalry unit with two pistols (one in each hand) that you can see in the majority of Renaissance armies, to come along with the arquebusiers.
And… we wanted to create one “big thing” for a long time and we finally have the chance to work on it, so it’s going to be some kind of surprise… We’ll let you know soon!
The August 2021 Release will be composed of:
- 1. Arquebusiers Unit (8): five male arquebusiers, two female arquebusiers and one arquebusier captain.
- 2. Black Riders (5): four black riders and one black rider captain, with three optional horses (3).
- 3. Long Arquebus Shooter (1)
- 4. Gold Wagon (1): one medieval wagon, horse, driver and props.
- 5. ONE COOL BIG “THING” (surprise)

At the end of the day, making miniatures is another way of creating art, and art can't be liked by everyone, it is totally normal. Anyways, in the upcoming months we'll try to bring more variety between monthly releases, for example in October, with the launchment of the first batch of miniatures and buildings for Transilvanya: the Fallen Realm.
