Quick Update

Greetings Patrons,

Just a quick update to let you know this is the time of year that I spend 2 weeks teaching chamber music to kids (ages 8-16) at a summer camp here in Brooklyn. We spend 6 hours a day learning orchestra parts and chamber music and then (hopefully) they go home and practice some more! The upshot of this is that I only have evenings to work on Tabletop Audio. But rest assured, I have things!

I'll be releasing something this weekend and probably the following weekend before getting back to my normal schedule.

In other news, I got a message from a teacher in Northern Michigan who said my site was basically, non functional for her. Clearly it was working for most people so this was a head-scratcher. I suspected the recent Cloudflare outage as the culprit but I couldn't find a way to troubleshoot the issue. That changed yesterday when a researcher in, of all places, Antarctica, said he was experiencing the same issue. With his help, I finally figured out that it was indeed due to Cloudflare leaving an older cached version of a file on the site that broke things for certain regions. Once I purged this file and and uploaded a fresh one, everything was back to normal. So if you've been having trouble with the play buttons not showing up on the main page of the site, this should be fixed.
