How could Alex not mention that Larry from Hellraiser is Garak in DS9?

Erich Geiger

I keep hearing the excuse that ongoing server costs is the reason for aggressive monetization and eventual shuttering of multiplayer games like Splitgate. But I can recall a time when this wasn’t an issue for companies because the players ran or rented the servers. Oh, wait, I still can play those games and did with Day of Defeat: Source a few weekends ago with some old clamates from my high school and college days. I am really, really tired of fun games like Splitgate that have an active, albeit smaller, community playing them and they get shut down due to cost or trying to shunt them to the next, newest thing.
