Isn't buttermilk like an intermediate ingredient? Like we use it to make the final product? I recall using it to bake red velvet cupcakes hahaha

I have also heard of that origin: That clinking the glasses and looking into eo eyes was so that the drinks would mix a bit and you basically checked if the other one was trying to poison you
