2025-12-10 18:52:25 +0000 UTCShirley is such a tragic character, some of the most emotional scenes in the show revolve around her because she was so honest & genuine… feel like Lelouch steels himself a lot, and often puts on a tough facade for things bigger than himself, but interactions with her often give us insight into his humanity… killing her dad devastated him, erasing her memories initially was him keeping the things he cared about away for their own good, and in this episode we see him literally risk swan diving off a roof without hesitation in order to save her - and desperate to keep her alive in her last moments.

2025-12-10 16:26:13 +0000 UTCBecause abdication is a thing, lelouch is born a prince but he uses a different last name and could've forefit his position just like euphemia did, it doesn't seem to really make a difference for us but for someone who lives and breathes loyality it makes the world. Let's say Jerimiah wouldn't changed sides at the end of this episode and would've continued to fight against the Black Knights he would've refused to Kill Zero/Lelouch because he knows he's royality born. Now with Lelouch using his real name it is more like the 'Camp' Jeremiah decided to support in the war for the Throne. At the very least it's how i see it :)
