I started watching since episode 1 airs weekly and the only reason why I keep watching it is just because I'm already too deep to stop. Endeavor's story is the only thing I could say "I admired" from the anime right now (it's also probably because I dont enjoy shonen as much as I used to)

2025-08-19 13:38:10 +0000 UTCMade in Abyss is no where near a "mainstream" anime. When it first came out, it almost completely flew under the radar due to being on a fringe streaming platform. However... HOWEVER, Made in Abyss had been near the top of the poll for the last 3-4 polls, which just shows how much W&S's community is disporportionately the target audience of Made in Abyss. I'm certain MiA is losing the vote again this time to the more mainstream shows, but I STRONGLY recommend W&S to this show a go. On the side note: I like MHA, but can we do it after HxH? I don't think two time-consuming Shonen at the same time is good for this channel.

Look what anime they discuss more and say in the beginning they tought about all week - steins gate, apothecary diaries, vinland saga. I am kinda sad for them now that they have to sit through MHA especially Steph :D

A bit disappointed to see my top two so low but not surprised either. I do have a feeling that 86 will win, and while I won't watch any reactions to it, I won't be upset to see it win. Also to those speculating that 86 is winning solely because of spite votes, just no. Are there people voting for whatever has a chance of beating 86? Yeah, of course there are. There are some seriously terminally online people that have nothing better to do than refresh the results every five minutes. But when it comes right down to it, 86 is a beloved series. I've never heard anything less that complimentary about it.
