Love the start of this season but I wanna get something out of the way that's a bit of a damper... This is the last season you'll hear the VA who does Coach Ukai.

Benkei is a historical figure who served a Japanese warlord, the dude looks like Benkei, and I believe Ushikawa's name matches the warlord, so that's the start of the joke that Bizzare explains. In essence, Hinata sees an Ushikawa and a man who looks like Benkei, so he assumes he is Benkei and will be the 2nd best player on the team, but then his team laughs and says "sorry to disappoint you" because it's not the real Benkei, and he's not the 2nd strongest player. (Also in tiny, I just want to thank everyone for all the support I've been getting. I'm working with my counselor and reading a book called "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck" so maybe I'll come back in to the anime comments every now and again. Take care)

2024-10-05 11:27:44 +0000 UTCseijoh is my favorite team, but shiratorizawa is a close second alongside karasuno. they messed up the adaptation for a couple of their characters on the anime, but they're actually all so cute and close with each other and I think what we do get on the anime translates it. you'll see!
