My brother and sister are the ones in my family that like to try new things and usually are the ones that get me to try new things. But as i have watched BTS they make food look so good and I have since tried a few new dishes and have really come to love Kimchi both the cabbage one and the green onions. Also I totally understand what you said at the end about her kids. Now that my oldest is in college she went on a camping trip with a couple of friends and I was telling my mom that we should go too..haha We didn't of course, but I do feel like i am missing out on part of her life. Anyway, Can't wait for the next episode more fun to come.

2024-09-03 21:53:58 +0000 UTCI'm dumbfounded lol I've NEVER hard of anyone who knew of maki rolls and sashimi as a pair but not nigiri (the topping on top of the rice) 😦 Here, the nigiri and maki are the most common, so I have to special order sashimi because it's my favorite part. Also omakase is the types of restaurants that are from the chefs hand to your mouth, so meaning you watch them cook your meal in front of you and there's no menu and it might change based on available ingredients. There is "traditional" omakase where there's a pattern you eat in, but nowadays, you see a lot of super fancy high-end restaurants doing "omakase style" which just means they choose the food and bring it to your table to prepare it in front of you. I've heard recently of pop-up restaurants and hidden restaurants that really classy chefs will do, where they will go rent a place, make it a private invite only restaurant, then move along to the next place and theyre sooooo hard to get into. Nick D'Giovvani did a video on hidden restaurants and there was one place in a random apartment building and he had to use his connections to get the address and stuff. It's so cool. Japan has a lot of hidden (stationary) ones as well, where you have to be in-the-know and look for the place like its a scavenger hunt, and they are usually heavily themed. I've always wanted to go to one~~~ Oh and I'm a mix of you guys on eating lol I have to try something at least once, but I'm super picky so I give the rest to my mom if I'm not a fan. I also can't eat onions or spice, which pretty much Removes Latin dishes from my palate (though my friend in Chile is on a mission to find something I'd like. So far we figured out I like Yerba Mate tea) Oh hey, Steph you got your wish lol on ep. 2 you said you wanted them to dress as pirates on a boat. There you go 😂

Also just to add to the fun fact about the moon tattoos: Jimin initially only had the crescent moon on his neck but Tae showed him a fanart from an army who had drawn him with the moon phases down his spine and Jimin thought it looked really cool so he actually got the other moons tattooed like that :)

You start with tea and soup, then a bunch of rounds of sushi snd end it with ice cream. I went to an omakase in tokyo and it was basically the same thing as what the guys are experiencing here. We just drank like 5 bottles of sake along 😅 its a veeerry special experience. And those restaurants are usually very small, just a place for the chef and you usually sit at the bar so you get to watch him work. Also, you have to book in advance, you cant just come

2024-09-03 19:04:19 +0000 UTCjk was hardly bring this up but he was super busy at that time he was shooting AYS, he did mv shoots, multiple live performances, interviews and sooo much more on top of that, it was a worldwide promotion so he had to take a long flight back and forth between the countries. unfortunately he was actually so sick during the whole golden promotions suffering from heavy cold. no wonder, right? but he was still willing to do this show for his fans before going to military, having fun with his fellow members (thanks to jimin :>) anyway thank you guys it was so much fun as always :)
