2025-01-21 01:26:20 +0000 UTC58:28 yes they do wear expensive ass brands. one of the thing i love about bts the most is how humble they are. like their clothe are always in the 1k price ranges even just a normal white t shirt but you wouldn’t know bc they’re ppl who don’t flaunt brands and stuff. their taste in fashion and design is very different as well so it always fun when you noticed the details of the things that have/wear :)

I am a Korean subscriber who recently graduated with my MA degree in East Asia (Korea) and have experience teaching Korean to non-native speakers in different class sizes and settings. If you are interested, I would like to offer to help you two read and recognize Korean letters/alphabet (한글 Hangul). Although the Korean language itself (vocabulary and grammar) is difficult to English-native speakers (generally speaking), reading and recognizing the letters is fairly easy! (at least the basic pronunciation is) Since I enjoy your BTS (and now Korean drama and some anime) content and reactions so much, I hope you can enjoy Korea-related content even more in the future, so I am sharing this idea. Again, I am unsure if this is possible (since we would need to find time outside of your already busy schedule and I don't know how we are going to set this up if we are doing it), but I thought it would be helpful if there were more options to consider. I meant to post this comment on last week's BTS 2019 Winter Package, but I watched this reaction video pretty late, so I thought it would be better to make a comment here so it is more visible. If you understood Korean, there are some connecting words that they used that were lost in translation similar to "and, but, so". The translation kinda made it sound like they missed catching some errors, but they really did not.

So he is doing sth with it now. Taehyung talks a lot about angels and praying so i don’t know whats up with that, if it’s religious or its just tae being tae 😅

2025-01-14 23:13:21 +0000 UTCmy aunt recently gave me a similar coat to jimin's (the tan topcoat) for Christmas except it's black and i've been really loving it since it's so versatile. i've had a similar, thinner polyester one (which was still decent quality) that i thrifted a few years ago that i always wore to church or formal events but the new one is nice cause it's able to keep me warmer (the fabric composition is part wool/polyester blend).

Namjoon have said before that he is an atheist in interviews and Yoongi tweeted something in 2016 where he mentioned that he doesnt have a religion. The rest i dont know.

2025-01-14 22:43:59 +0000 UTC37:21 - Yeah one thing about the subtitles, i feel like they're most often translated and paced according to how the speakers of that language speak, instead of being so word-for-word, if that makes sense? They're all using sentence connectors at the end of their sentences here (and, but, so, because, etc.) but the subtitles make it seem like it's the next person that starts their sentence with the sentence connecting word instead lol 😭 Also yes, you're right (40:14)! In Korean sentence connecting words can be made into particles, which are then stuck at the end of words, somewhat similar to how in English we can put 'do' and 'not' together to make 'don't'. They're doing something similar but its usually verb/noun + connector, like (37:21) Jin says 먹고 which is a combination of 먹다 (eat) & 그리고 (and)! There're also sentence ending particles, which is what Jimin is the first to call the members out on for using 😭
