Vincenzo will always be one of my favorite shows because you can't predict what is going to happen, and the characters are so well written, and the fact that you agreed that vincenzo is not flawless, that he can make mistakes and it just makes so much sense and it makes it more realistic! can't wait for the next episode because yeah now that the new chairman has been revealed things are going to get a lot messier. One of my biggest problems the first few times I watched this and couldn't get far, it was because I didn't like the direction I thought it was going where it would be just a lawyer show with the most PG mafioso ever. I hated how they built Vincenzo up so much only to water him down to make him TV friendly, but the show more than makes up for it and it gets heated as a true war between a couple of psychopaths vs the devilish Mafia 🥰 Oh and about the last episode with the fish eye commentary, I'm with Wesley! Fish eyes are the best part. They were crunchy in the episode because the fish was fried heavily, but they can be meaty and soft too and heavily umami because the fish oils are so prominent in the area. In my families traditions, you get organs if you are being congratulated or celebrated, and we take turns for holidays now though there used to be a rule that oma (Grandma) and Grandpa got the heart and gizzards on holidays, but we argued for it a lot and worked out a turn-based system. Oh and pigs blood is good! Just can't stand it as a bologna so I can only eat it soft, like in haggis, as a spread, or pudding and soup form.
