🥹 Thank you 💜 I definitely think weekly updates are the most stressful way to write. There are so many things I wish I could go back and rewrite, so if I do start writing again, I'm probably going to write ahead then post for sure.

2024-07-26 11:01:10 +0000 UTCI’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet but the romantic manga “Sweet Today” by the mentor is the same as the one that appeared in Kaguya Season 2 where it made everyone cry lol. That (at least implies) that Oshi No Ko and Kaguya occur in the same universe

2024-07-25 02:21:28 +0000 UTCI'm just gonna say, I'm learning a lot about myself from this show lol 😅 I'm more like the young mangaka than I'd care to admit, to the point that I'm such a perfectionist I crack under the pressure and can't even trust myself to write, so like the mentor one said, I get depressed and stop writing. I've been on a year-long hiatus now from my story (which was weekly update) and I just.. can't even imagine trying to write again even though I really want to deep down. But I want so badly to not ruin my own story that it's too hard to start again

2024-07-24 19:25:07 +0000 UTCJapanese manga authors are often subjected to extremely rigorous work schedules, leaving very little time for rest and sleep. This phenomenon is well documented and is a reality in the world of manga creation in Japan. For example, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of "One Piece," has mentioned in interviews that he only sleeps three hours per night. The author of "Oshi no Ko," Aka Akasaka, took a break in 2023 due to health issues.

2024-07-24 18:51:19 +0000 UTCWould love for yall to react to Bakuman at some point. Same author/artist duo that did death note, and it’s a manga about an author/artist duo making manga. Very fun series.
