Yea, they said Aura is pretty long lived at 500 - and ole pinky saw Stark’s master fight 80 years prior, so I’d say it’s much more likely that just how she looks rather than her still having growing to do. As far as evolution is concerned and how much the author puts into world building… wouldn’t surprise me if they appear a bit younger because that’s a trait beneficial to their emotional manipulation - and likewise beneficial to survival itself.

I've read up to the most recent chapters of the manga,and I'm struggling to think of a single female demon that has been introduced that wasn't small or petite, the only one I can think of is the one that Flamme killed in the flash back and I'm only assuming that they are female based on their voice, they could be male with a feminine sounding voice. So I'm thinking that female demons tend to look more like Aura and Linie in general and are just much smaller than the male demons on average. Going back and looking at the most recently introduced female demon, she's shown standing next to 2 other male demons and the size difference is pretty striking. So I think it's pretty likely to be the case, Male demons are larger and female demons are just much smaller on average.
