2024-01-12 02:52:04 +0000 UTCI'm going to post this in the three episodes you uploaded today to maximize the chances of you seeing it so apologies in advance, but make sure you watch the Violet Evergarden special between episodes 4 and 5. It fits there continuity wise best and will make things make a bit more sense in terms of Violet's growth as a doll, and it's the order most people react to it in for that reason.

2024-01-11 21:55:02 +0000 UTCI think I realized something. The feelings she interpreted wasn't the sisters, but the brothers. Because if you think about it, the sister outright said her feelings, but I think Violet realized that that was what the brother needed to hear. He thought his sister blamed him for coming back and not saving their parents~ This opinion also comes from the fact in Japanese, he was calling her by her name-dono. Normally they would just say "sister" or name-chan or name-nee. Name-dono is reserved for someone above you, like a lord. He feels so at fault that he thinks his sister thinks little of him as well.
